Royal Research Ship James Cook

Scientific Cruise JC23A

I flew from Heathrow on a cold February evening. A stop in Charles De Gaulle airport, then on to land in Santiago Airport on a warm late summer morning. A 100km taxi ride down from Santiago to Vina Del Mar gave me a chance to see some of the vineyards of Chile.

Into a hotel; showered and rested then out for lunch and a drink. And a touch of sunburn.

Mine's a Beer
And a Pizza
After another rest it was out again. Did some photography on the seaside, then dinner, and some drinks, at this little restaurant opposite the hotel.
